Zachman Framework – further discussion

Hi All,

Here are a couple of follow-on thoughts prompted by the Zachman Framework PD this morning – specifically the matrix of BA artefacts on the ‘Levelling’ slide –

1. Acceptance Criteria are shown at the Technician and Engineer level (if memory serves) and this is of course correct for the Given/When/Then style or Excepted Result of a test case, i.e. Acceptance Criteria as we BAs would understand them. However, everyone at each level (perspective) has their own acceptance criteria (which may or may not be explicitly stated). For the higher levels these might be labelled ‘success criteria’ – in other words, the expectations of senior management and the criteria by which they judge that an initiative has achieved the business objectives. How could these be shown in the matrix?

2. A related point – where does Benefits Realisation fit into the matrix? What artefacts does it require?
