Many companies are attempting agile transformations with mixed results. James Staltari has successfully delivered a number of digital transformations across a range of industries, and is currently delivering an agile transformation at Sime Darby Industrial trading as Hastings Deering (Caterpillar) in Australia, and is thus in an ideal position to share with you what he has learned on this journey.

In this interactive presentation, James will take a practical approach, firstly introducing you to each element of his agile transformation playbook: cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, co-location, sponsorship and aligned goals. He will then provide practical tips, such as how to overcome the frozen layer, how to frame your challenges to get better results, as well as looking at any tricks and traps that you might encounter. As James has been in the trenches he has a number of agile war stories to share in his transformations. We will then finish off the session with a discussion where you can pick his brains or those of your colleagues with specifics.

This session is aimed at the intermediate agilist looking to improve ways of transforming medium to large scale organisations who want to be more agile.
