Thank you for reaching out to the forum and apologies for the delay in response.
It is a great question to ask and you have certainly come to the right place, as we have looked into this ourselves.
On the SCRUM side, the intention behind SCRUM is one of simplicity. Create something convoluted, and it will struggle to be adopted. Create something simple and logical, and with the right support, it will eventually speak for itself. At BAPL we have looked into a number of industry providers and ultimately landed on SCRUM Institute for this very reason. It is simple to understand, comes with the supporting information and is easily adopted. Take a look at the SCRM Short course for more information on this certification – its a great supporting resource.
We also have looked beyond SCRUM to industry certifications that will both support and extend BA capability in the agile landscape. We support our consultants in the IIBA Agile Analysis Certification (AAC) which is based on the Agile Extension v2. These coupled together provide a solid agile platform for BAs. Take a look at the Agile Extension V2 short course for more information.
And finally, for a well rounded business analysis certification, the IIBA CBAP or PMI PBA provides the foundations for BAs to solidify their craft. Which can then be extended with the certifications above.
