Maybe too late, but here’s my take:
If it’s just a process flow, which will eventually be manually executed, then just depict the activity and a notation with the parameters/instructions.
If it’s going to be actually automated, where the system will do the search by parameters, then use the gateways explained above, or whatever similar feature available in the tool.
